Holiday Care Terms & Conditions

Excellent Kids Montessori (EKM)

These Terms & Conditions apply to all Holiday Care bookings at Excellent Kids Montessori and are designed to ensure a safe, enjoyable, and well-managed experience for all children and families.

 1.⁠ ⁠Eligibility

Holiday Care is available for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years, subject to availability and compliance with applicable enrolment and health requirements.

All children attending Holiday Care must have completed the required registration and emergency contact information prior to attendance.

​

 2.⁠ ⁠Bookings

Holiday Care bookings are subject to availability and are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

​

Bookings may be made for:

• Single-day attendance

• Multiple-day attendance

• Short-term casual care

​

A booking is not confirmed until written confirmation has been provided by Excellent Kids Montessori.

​

 3.⁠ ⁠Fees & Payment​

Full payment is required prior to attendance unless otherwise agreed by management.

Holiday Care fees:

​

• Are charged per booked session or day.

• Must be paid by the due date specified on the invoice.

• Are non-transferable to another child.

​

Additional fees may apply for late collection or additional services.

​

 4.⁠ ⁠Cancellations & Refunds​

Cancellations must be submitted in writing.

​

Cancellation Notice
More than 48 hours before the booked session: Full credit or rescheduling may be offered.
Less than 48 hours before the booked session: Fees may be forfeited.
No-shows are non-refundable.

Refund requests will be considered at the discretion of management.

​

 5.⁠ ⁠Arrival & Collection​

Children must be signed in and signed out by a parent, guardian, or authorised nominee.

Photo identification may be requested for authorised nominees collecting a child for the first time.

​

Children will only be released to individuals listed on the enrolment form unless prior written authorisation has been provided.

​

 6.⁠ ⁠Late Collection

Families are expected to collect children by the agreed collection time.

Late collection fees may apply where collection occurs after the booked session end time.

Repeated late collections may result in future bookings being declined.

 7.⁠ ⁠Health & Illness​

For the wellbeing of all children and educators:

​​

Children who are unwell must not attend.
Children displaying symptoms of illness may be refused entry or sent home.
Parents must provide accurate medical information, allergies, medications, and health conditions before attendance.

EKM reserves the right to contact parents or emergency contacts if a child becomes unwell during their session.

 8.⁠ ⁠Medical Conditions & Allergies

Parents must disclose all medical conditions, allergies, dietary requirements, and medications before attendance.

Failure to provide accurate medical information may result in cancellation of the booking where EKM cannot safely meet the child's needs.

 9.⁠ ⁠Meals, Snacks, Allergies & Dietary Requirements

Nutritious meals and snacks may be provided during Holiday Care sessions, unless otherwise advised.

Parents or guardians must inform Excellent Kids Montessori of any allergies, food intolerances, dietary requirements, medical conditions, or special meal preparation requirements prior to their child's attendance. This information must be disclosed at the time of booking and updated if there are any changes.

While EKM takes reasonable precautions to accommodate known allergies and dietary needs, the Centre relies on accurate and complete information being provided by families to support the safe preparation and serving of meals.

​

Failure to disclose allergies, dietary requirements, or medical conditions may place the child at risk and may result in EKM being unable to provide meals or safely accommodate the child within the Holiday Care program.

​

Parents are responsible for ensuring all allergy and dietary information is current, accurate, and communicated to EKM before each booking where relevant.

10.⁠ ⁠Behaviour & Safety

EKM is committed to providing a safe and respectful environment for all children.

Where a child's behaviour presents a risk to themselves, other children, or educators, parents may be contacted to collect their child.

Management reserves the right to refuse future bookings where ongoing behavioural concerns cannot be safely supported within the Holiday Care program.

11.⁠ ⁠Photography & Marketing

Photographs may occasionally be taken for educational documentation and centre activities.

No images of children will be used for marketing or promotional purposes without prior parental consent.

​

12.⁠ ⁠Liability

While Excellent Kids Montessori takes every reasonable precaution to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children, parents acknowledge that participation in normal childcare activities involves everyday risks associated with play, learning, and social interaction.

EKM will not be liable for loss of personal belongings brought to the service.

​

13.⁠ ⁠Changes to the Program

Excellent Kids Montessori reserves the right to modify Holiday Care activities, schedules, staffing arrangements, operating hours, or these Terms & Conditions where reasonably required.

14.⁠ ⁠Acceptance

By making a Holiday Care booking, parents and guardians acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
