We would like to provide a quick reminder regarding Child Care Subsidy (CCS) hours and how they may affect your childcare fees.

Families approved for 72 subsidised hours per fortnight can receive CCS support for up to:

​

• 8 days per fortnight when attending 9-hour sessions, or

• approximately 4 days per week.

​

If bookings exceed the approved CCS hours, any additional hours may be charged at the full daily fee rate.

​

For our Kindergarten children, eligible families may also benefit from the Queensland Free Kindy funding, which can further reduce out-of-pocket costs.

We encourage families to regularly check their CCS entitlement through myGov/Centrelink to ensure it matches their current work, study, or activity hours.

We are delighted to offer the Queensland Government’s Free Kindy program for eligible Kindergarten-aged children at Excellent Kids Montessori.

Families enrolled in our Kindergarten program may receive up to 15 hours of funded Kindergarten per week, helping reduce out-of-pocket childcare costs while children enjoy a high-quality Montessori learning environment designed to support independence, confidence, creativity, and school readiness.

Free Kindy funding is available for eligible children attending an approved Kindergarten program.
